The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) has implemented several measures to support Ukrainian researchers affected by the war in their country. Those include:
- the increase of funding through Scholars at Risk to allow researchers from Ukraine to pursue their academic work at institutions in Switzerland
- the possibility to extend deadlines and funding periods temporarily for researchers whose ongoing SNSF project experiences delays because of the war in Ukraine
- the possibility for leaders of running SNSF-funded projects to apply for additional funding to invite scientists from Ukraine to join their teams.
All these measures also apply to NCCR researchers.
