NCCR Robotics opened an internal call for research proposals, looking for novel and collaborative research ideas within the themes of the three Grand Challenges (Wearable Robotics, Rescue Robotics, Educational Robotics).
An evaluation committee went through all the proposals and selected three for funding:
- Wireless, actuating electronic skins for early prediction of mental and cognitive decline in Parkinson’s disease
(collaboration between the labs of Olaf Blanke and Stéphanie Lacour) - Sensory-motoR nEurostImulation to eNhance myosuit perFORmanCE (REINFORCE)
(collaboration between the labs of Stanisa Raspopovic, Silvestro Micera and Robert Riener) - Origami-Based Human-Robot-Interface for Stabilizing Deployable Miniature Robots for Minimal-Invasive Laser Surgery
(collaboration between the labs of Jamie Paik and Georg Rauter)
These projects will work to build the collaboration between the NCCR’s grand challenges and teams.
