To celebrate the 50th anniversary of women obtaining the right to vote in Switzerland, the campaign will introduce some of the women working in Swiss research institutes.
From Women’s Day on March 8th 2021, to October 31st – the 50th anniversary of the women’s vote in Switzerland – , our female colleagues will be showing you who they are, what they do and why they do it.
Currently there are 22 NCCRs focusing on almost any topic: quantum physics, using robots to make architecture more sustainable, to the physical causes of mental illness and the origin and evolution of planets. 2021.
Each NCCR will have one dedicated week, where they will share videos telling the stories of their women researchers. NCCR Robotics will share its stories on the week of 17-21 May 2021.
