Whatever career path you’re thinking about, it is important to know “the rules of the game”.
Some apply for academia, rising start-ups, and big companies; some are well known, and some are unwritten. Marina Bill from ABB, Iselin Frøybu from Emovo Care, and Auke Ijspeert from EPFL shared their tips on how to make it in industry or academia at the young researchers mentoring session organized by the NCCR Robotics Equal Opportunities committee at the Swiss Robotics Day 2021.
