Among the different aspects of this paradigm, this PhD project will particularly focus on technology-supported upper-limb therapy methods. The main goal will be to implement, develop and validate new sensor-based NR approaches, based on evidence from the literature and the needs and expectations of patients and clinicians.
As a doctoral student in this project, you will participate in collecting evidence as well as clinicians’ and patients’ opinions to specify the required characteristics of novel NR programs for the upper extremity. You will then implement and develop these solutions, before validating them through clinical trials.
